Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•What's your most cynical opinion about the world?
3·3 months agoMany of us are doing in secret and in public. Help us out where you can, and take action. If you leave then please drum up support wherever you move to and help from there. It takes us all. Have hope we are winning together!!

Linux@lemmy.ml•I just wanted to compare FOSS Linux budgeting software
2·3 months agoWe need more PeerTube devs to develop it further
Also to switch everybody to Vanillo (not open source but definitely a way better alternative)
Best if they make it so there is no AI Content allowed too or at very least segmented away from human content

6·3 months agoWe need a website to highlight what projects need funding and how much. Potemtially partner up with open source social media too so projects can display how much they need for the year

Privacy@lemmy.ml•Most, if not all car companies collect and profile your data, how can I improve my privacy when buying a modern car?
6·3 months agoI’m actually prototyping some designs for making open source vehicles/transportation. The only way this stops is more people advocating for more privacy laws, & for more open source transportation/vehicles becoming a thing worldwide
Just like it is for laptops/phones and Social Media via Linux, FOSS, & Open Source

Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•What's the android version of getting annoyed with windows and installing linux mint?
2·3 months agoThe real answer is PostmarketOS. Look at all the phones supported. They add new phones every 2 weeks/month as more people volunteer to help get phones they own supported. The Fairphones are an amazing option with PostmarketOS. Can switch to different distros too (Not the same as it is for laptops yet for switching distros but the overall function works as daily driver. Just pick phones that have full support)

Thats awesome!!! Would be cool if it could be made to work with Vanillo (not open source sadly) and PeerTube. Would be an awesome thing overall
