There are now 13 English Wikipedia entries for the word Nura. This is my biggest criticism of the name. I hope it helps the project. I want a Linux phone that can run native Linux apps by default (and a few other features).
At least it is the only software project so not technically a dupe
Yep, and allows them to trademark the name, which has some legal benefit.
How so?
Descriptive names generally can’t be trademarked, so postmarketOS wasn’t eligible. Nura is the only computer project with that name and it isn’t descriptive, so can be trademarked (in the computer or software field).
