The rationale is interesting. I’m glad they kept the logo as it’s recycling ♻️

The name is long and can be very hard to pronounce in many languages.

Who the fuck translates names? This should be a borrow word at max. Like, I would say postmarket oh es or postmarket os' (soft s), latter maybe more casually. I would NOT say “The after market operating system” in my language. If it’s implying some groups are incapable of pronouncing English in any coherent way, that’s just racist the way I see it.

    New proposed name:

Programs, Routines and Symbolic Languages That Control/Dictate the Functioning of Physical Equipment Directly Involved in Performing an Industrial, Technological or Military Function; Designed for Controlling the Allocation and the Use Of Various Resources of Such Physical Equipment to Tasks and Remote Human Users; to be Used with Including But Not Limited to Equipment Originally Manufactured for the Purpose of Being a Portable, Wireless Telephone, Which Changes Radio Connections Seamlessly During Travel from One Radio Reception Cell to Another Without Losing the Party-To-Party Call Connection; Almost Exclusively Subsequent to the Term of Sale of Said Equipment.

One just has to translate the whole thing and it’s fine, no way to mispronounce.

Many languages do not have the same set of sounds as English - a stereotypical example being Japanese, which merges L and R - and so words that use those sounds are difficult to pronounce
