Traded in my Sapphire RX 9060 XT 16GB (which had super annoying coil whine) for an Asrock RX 9070 16GB about 5 months ago and just checked to see how much prices had changed. The thing that boggles my mind the most is how much the 9060 XT has gone up (now listing at $700-$1000) as it is now basically the same price or more than an RX 9070 and definitely not the same performance. In contrast, the exact same card I am using only now has increased by about $90 since June.
All I can say for sure is I hope that warranties cover any component failures if they happen before 2030…
I bought an Intel Arc Pro B70 32GB for $1000 when it first came out. Sadly that’s a bargain these days for that much vram. They’re already up to $2000 now. It’s crazy how prices of things are still going up and you have to buy early to avoid the increase now. It’s the opposite of the early adopter tax people used to pay.
Got a 9070 in August. It’s already gone up 72%.

Got a 9070 xt in early august as well! Did they gone up so much?!
In my country, yes. We’ve tended to lag behind price increases in the US too.
