It is nice when things just work.
Ok, but what is it and how is it different than a dash?
Ok, what the heck is an em-dash?

And sometimes regular people want things to work with minimal friction.
why can’t we just be normal and use Netflix, why do we have to tolerate any buffering on your Jellyfin thing
I’ve run Jellyfin and I get this; you must not have something serious correctly, your bandwidth sucks, or it’s a bug in Jellyfin. Either way, that’s friction.
I’m sending you photos on Google Photos or WhatsApp, why should I have to figure out adding them to you NAS drop folder.
Again, friction. Google Photos and WhatsApp is easy. I guarantee you’ve setup something that you think is cool but is just a PITA.
I’d be like if a mechanic setup this car so that everything was opposite to make it difficult to steal; gas on the left and brake on the right, turn signal on the left, etc etc. sure he thinks it’s cool and when he drives it it’s fine, but it’s a PITA for anyone else to drive his car. And he asks people to drive his car constantly to show them how cool it is because of all the work he put into it.
And don’t call people “normies”. You sound like you live in you mom’s basement when you say that.
Edit: Looks like I struck a nerve.

Got a link on this where I can read more abou it?

Or use an online password manager and take scheduled exports of the data as a backup.

Mein Führer, I can walk!
We’re getting to the stage where normal everyday traits are being attributed to neurological dingleberries.
Umm, ok. My dingleberries are between me and my doctor, thank you very much.
Did Bob Loblaws update his law blog?

Until sites don’t work because they block too much.
I’ve settled on Waterfox.
The portable cone of silence?
I think some of the newer stuff needs an app but the older stuff doesn’t.
I think.
Because if it’s something that’s vital, you should just pay to have someone else host it. ESPECIALLY if it’s a nominal cost per year.
Bitwarden, DON’T self host.
