yea, that sounds like a serious problem. dont have anything like that with my 3000 series card. Would try a clean install, and then RMA if it keeps happening.

no, sadly you need a Meta account, which is separate from your Facebook account. (pour one out for Oculus, such a better brand name).
For a while it was rough, if you got a facebook ban it would block your headset. now at least they are separate, and getting banned on one doesn’t ban the other!
You haven’t needed a facebook account for the headsets for years now. They finally saw that linking the two was a horrible idea.
Oh, god, the biofuel grind was so painful in the begining, at least until you actually get BIOFUEL.
Once im done my Pacific Drive playthrough, ill take another bash at it.
Yea, I’m still early, but the onboarding feels more rough, so I haven’t got as far as with the others.
My DSP Save has like 200 hours (lots of it AFK to grind some avhivments, and factorio is like 300+
Really having trouble getting into satisfactory. Im used to DSP and Factorio, where its a grid system, and easy to scale up.
I still run a lot of my games off of spinning rust. Boot times are a little bit longer, but at least i can store a ton of games.
If you have a $3k GPU, definitely feels that way!
not sure what you mean.
The power supply would just provide an additional voltage, they currently provide 3.3V, 5V and 12V, they could also provide 48v too.
Definitly feels like we need to increase the voltage. Stepdown transformers are extremely efficient, and could be card side.
I really love my Quest 3 headset, and i think the investments into VR is some of the best money that Facebook has spent… for me as a consumer.
I dont think that the metaverse is worth the electrons used to send it though.
Best dollhouse sim is clearly Dwarf Fortress
Honestly, this is close to an ideal use of it, IMO
You still have human devd making the game, but if I had a specific bed spread I wanted in game, this gives me a bit of power
pretty close to what happened with me. RMA’d an MSI AIO twice, then bought a (MASSIVE) Noctua, which has been 100% reliable.
i didnt have a problem with pump noise, however of the two AIOs i had, both had the pump die.
god, i 100% the SR the third… .and i cant remember a single thing about it.
It does for me too, but it’s starting to get older, had to turn down helldivers!
No, things will be worse.
But at least the performance increase will be larger!
I’m getting to the point where i would love to replace my 3070, it getting quite long in the tooth, but cant see doing that for at least another generation or two with these prices!
my favorite are when it uses rechargable AAs, but can recharge them itself.
