buy a used windows mixed reality headset. people seemed to like the samsung odyssey+ on reddit 6 years ago
If you are on linux most of them don’t have great support (refer to the linux vr adventures wiki)
or buy psvr2 which needs an adapter to work on pc
no mention of guix on a systemd less distro list is crazy. not that i use guix, and im fine with systemd as a nixos user, but it feels like guix is the anti nixos. the richard stallman version of nixos with all the pros and cons that come with that
The problem with running quest games outside of quest is actually that meta has a specialized vr version of android, that even people haven’t figured out how to get their apps running on the pico (bytedance) android headsets. This is pretty crazy considering how easy it is to pirate on quest
I saw some videos on youtube recently that basically said lunar client steals all your data, so you should switch to prism or smth and just download the pvp mods with the prism clients mod management
The steam frame is also not streaming vr to a separate vr headset
Everytime I open up steam I see at least 1 new indie game with 0 reviews on the front page
The old windows mixed reality headsets were that before it got discontinued
I’ve been using beeper to chat on meta platforms and it seems to work. Private (from beeper) if you can trust them
sky is blue
just get a mac that supports linux and dualboot
A couple years ago there was a meme of calling the n word the gamer word. I think this was caused by some streamers at the time saying the word on stream. Connotations of it being the gamer word.
Use a home dir on a separate partition and use nix or flatpak or some other distro agnostic package manager
Isn’t the point of modern fighting games to get you to buy the dlc which never has as good sales as the regular game. Like they need you to have the game so that you can spend more than you paid for the game for the meta characters
Have you seen debugging in an ide, they usually just run gdb / lldb commands
teamspeak 6 has group chats and private messagimg
To be fair the switch 1 only got hacked because nvidia messed up the firmware. I think there still isn’t a software hack for switch 1 so nintendo’s os security is pretty good
Its legal if you bought the game and dump the cartridge
try nixos / guix
Well I didn’t send it in. I just got oculus support to separate my facebook account from my oculus account, which at the time new standalone oculus accounts were not able to be created. So I found the only loop hole to make a new standalone oculus account.
This account was eventually migrated to the meta account system and still works while my facebook account still doesn’t work.
The stats imply there were more chinese users surveyed this month and chinese steam users don’t use linux much
