I am playing Watch Dogs Legion right now and it has the most gnarly fucked up bad guy shit that is relevant to real world shit.

One of the bad guys (cuz there’s multiple ones) is creating AI by digitizing actual people and then stripping away their humanity until they are basically the kind of LLMs we have now all so she can do shit like turn the lights in her house on and off. Effectively creating immortal slaves that can never disobey because they’re lobotomized.

So like… I guess the real AI we have could be worse?

Netflix only went the way it did because they were liscensing shows and movies from other publishers/studios who could have, and finally did, take their shit back and start their own subscription service.

It’s not just Netflix that sucks now; it’s the whole of legit streaming video services becoming what cable was that got Netflix popular to begin with.

This is unlikely to happen with Steam, given that competitors are already trying to do what they can similarly and it has yet to actually do anything.

All the anime I like outside of a couple were seemingly written for little/teenage girls. I mean, the two genres I like most are Slice of Life and Shouju.

I don’t like the big robot animes. I don’t like drama, period, anime or not. I definitely do not like all the anime that seems to just be the fantasies of a 14 year old boy other than JoJo, which I am almost positive is done on purpose to make fun of other anime that does it seriously. I mean all those goofy poses the dudes make were the creator applying female model poses to male characters.

It’s set inside the First House of the Bureau and you play as generic agents taking care of problems (which is still 90% the Hiss but there are, like, boss fights against “SCPs” like a traffic light and shit).

Were they expecting FBC to do numbers? 🤨

I dunno if it’s improved much, but at launch it felt like some kid’s janky-ass mod more than a AA game from Remedy.

And it was even dumber to set that kind of game in such a dope world when the game itself doesn’t have much exploration or even a plot.
