I used to assume most of the bots belonged to Reddit. I still do, too.

3·2 months agoI read that link and I’m not sure I understand Doctorow’s reasoning on the subject. I typically find people that dismiss voting with their wallet fundamentally misunderstand microeconomics but either way, both points (yours and mine) are definitely not hills I’d die on.
manually. I used to sync via dropbox, but i was never comfortable with that solution.
Indiana, $3.59/gal according to a quick check of Waze. I remember during Bush II in 2007 it got up $4.50/gallon near here. That sucked.
I was introduced to sweet corn on pizza by someone from the U.K. It was pretty good.

5·2 months agoThe complaints about sex-trafficking were never real or about sex-trafficking. They were the equivalent of today’s internet age gate laws that are popping up all over. It was about control then as it is now.

8·2 months agohey, Leisure Suit Larry had a really tough 3-part questionaire to seperate adults from minors.
web pages used to sort of operate that way with the ‘Temporary Internet Files’ folder. i’m not sure how it’s changed i just know this was how i used to circumvent websites that disabled right-clicking to save their images.

2·3 months agoThe cable is the first thing to go for me, but i find that to be a repairable issue. Unlike those damn dongles on the wireless ones.
I used to do that. I’d turn the water heater all the way up and then start a shower as hot as it will go while leaving the fan off. -I had to eventually clean the ceiling of the bathroom with bleach-water to remove the water spots, though
I think there is a lack of opportunity epidemic in the USA right now. The way people cope with that varies.
