Yay, bindsym, good to see i3 again, Bad that I switched to KDE, but there is an equivalent. Anyway it’s a habit changer. Looks like I need to integrate hister more into my web usage. But maybe I need some training. It isn’t possible to setup hister as my default search engine in browser with automated fallback to normal Meta-search with whatever engine? And I use login credentials maybe a faster way like passkey possible in the future?

I switched from bazzite to CachyOS on my steam deck, never gonna change to another again. CachyOS is simply the best.

Used adaway, too but long before 2021. Good alternative is to host a small vps server, install adguard home, use hosts confs as common and then use DoT on a unrooted phone to this vps. GrapheneOS for example.

Or easier, just use a DoT provider with adblock which you trust. Quad9, adguard-dns and so on.

Advanced Distro-hopper over here: I am actually fine with cachyOS. If I want to leave systemd, only good alternative I found is artix. Someone tried their new stable release of 2026? Arch + openrc + Wayland + pipewire + KDE would be my usecase.
