Fascists don’t play by the rules, because they don’t think they apply to them or they are inconvenient. If they rules don’t apply to you then they don’t apply to you. Can’t have it both ways.

TV software is fucking abysmal. Its laggy, full of bloat and as you point out, their wifi capabilities are shit. I even have the connection/speed issue right now with one of my older TVs.

I fail to see how sharing memes is a bad thing. Lemmy is a great community, its leagues better than what Reddit was, even in its heyday, and certainly better than the shit-buffet it has become.

While OC is great, it’s really tough to make, especially at the frequency needed to provide new content and keep people interested. Further, 90% (or something) of people on here lurk, with the remaining 10% split between commentators and posters.

Depends on how strongly you value your relationship with your brother. He may be a fuckwaffle, but he is your fuckwaffle. It’s big of you setting your differences aside. If you don’t go, and he means a lot to you outside of his political views, then you might regret not going. If you don’t really care for him and political ideology is more important then dont go. I think not going is kind of crossing the Rubicon, but I don’t know the situation part from your details

A friend and I were discussing this. It seems like these days it’s more rewarding, objectively, to be a shitbag than to actually be a good human. We’re constantly being played for suckers despite having morals. Everyone else is cheating in this tragedy of the moral commons.
