25·11 months agoI door dashed for a bit between jobs. Never judged the customer unless they were exceptionally poor tippers. In my area, tip is only added on after service. One time it was pouring rain and this dude answered the door, told me how shitty it must be to deliver in that kind of weather, and then closed the door and no tip ever came through.
It took some time for me to realize that not finding a continuous stream of new content was a feature and not a flaw. It meant that there was no algorithm feeding me an endless stream of crap in hopes of keeping me glued to the screen. It meant I could close the app and move on with my day and check back much later. That realization made me embrace it.
Last month when I went on vacation, I caught something while on the vacation. I would have sworn it was Covid or flu but tests came back negative. Just a bad viral infection. I guess those still exist.
I actually just discovered that song by accident today lol. It was for a Venom movie? Weird collab but he’s always had a bit of the social commentary piece to him. This album just seems to be leaning more on the heavier sound.
Edit: OH! Hold the Line! I forgot about that one.
Grandson’s new album seems to be shaping up to have those tones. First released tracks hit them pretty pointedly. He’s not as refined as some of the artists you mentioned, though.
I have unknown numbers forwarded directly to voicemail on iOS, but yeah I’m getting a bunch too.

It seems like you want to be with her because she’s here right now and you’d rather have someone than no one. You wouldn’t be hesitating otherwise. You effectively told her that, too.
If you don’t think you can commit and she’s looking for that, you should let her go.

If you feel comfortable doing so, you could ask for insight into why your application wasn’t considered. You can try to phrase it around making it a learning moment for you: Can you explain to me why my application wasn’t considered so that I can be better prepared the next time an opportunity arises? The person being asked the question will be less likely to see it was an attack and more of a humble question from a person who values their insight.
I loved the first 3 Burnout games. I HATED Paradise. I just greatly dislike open world racing games.

That’s just laziness on your part. It’s VERY easy to find video clips of the two times he did it.
Eugen has admitted, in some ways, that he’s introverted and perhaps didn’t have the skills to create the publicity needed to have it grab general public attention. While I have concerns that the new non-profit will become a Mozilla type entity with too much overhead, hopefully some useful overhead can be put into better marketing the product.
Because it’s not good at a single thing and yet tries to do everything. It’s slow, cumbersome, and poorly laid out in a way that discourages a productive workflow.
Microsoft rushed the hell out of it to ride that Zoom covid wave and never bothered to go back and figure out why not a single person you’ve ever met actually doesn’t mind it (nevermind likes it).
This guy is going to intentionally tank the economy at the behest of Papa Putin.
