I am an American, born here. I get it. Hardship is not the destruction of lives, nor is bankruptcy, nor is homelessness. The destruction of life is the destruction of life. What path are we on? How far down the tracks are you? The same track we’re all tied to on this sinking ship. So, quick! Do nothing differently!!

If every American did just a bit of that simultaneously, nobody would be worrying about either. They’d be worrying about their country and it’s consequences to the globe. Something Americans are incapable of. No mass unrest, no unrest to register. The job market is already upsidedown, again, under trump, again. What’s the worst in tipping the scale over and bouncing off of rock bottom? It’s what the world needs. It’s what you need. It’s what I need. China did it. The French still do it. Americans have lived catered to buy slaves and slave labor since this countries inception, ain’t nobody willing to get uncomfortable even in the face of oppressive regime. So, yes. Get into unsecured debt. Try out homelessness while you protest in the streets. Nobody in their right minds goes to work, protest, then work again. Fucking commit or be honest that your so called values are hollow virtue signaling. Come on in, the waters fine.
Yup. Keep going to work to fund atrocities domestically and overseas. When you’re not doing that, show up at a demonstration. But don’t ever demonstrate violently like the French or anything. That’s bad, mkay?

3·2 months agoIgnorant loaded question, are there no other sellers to fallback on?? WD or Seagate or nothing for this world?? Where is the foreign competition? Europe, Asia, anywhere… Or has WD/Seagate effectively captured the global market?

Fedora seems similar to clear Linux os, on the idempotent/deterministic scale. Swupd was quite fricticious, not very intuitive to users
Is this like moving from flavor to flavor or release name to release name? Cause going from Linux mint Xia back to Virginia is a pain in the dick.
Yield to traffic in circle, not yield to anything in your perspective quadrant of the circle… Leave grandpa be, he’s running on nothing but cortisol and spite for death. And try to circulate the cabin air, quit huffing the exhaust from tailgating. The don’t test emissions in roundabout country…

Linux@lemmy.ml•Cheap Portable USB Touch Monitors - any experiences?
4·11 months agoI have a couple different units. Both recommendable, sub $100 range. Magnetic flaps are handy for slapping them to sheet metal like case sides. One is a trifold, the other a bifold. They stack and sit side by side nicely in many arrangements. Usb-c power pass through lets you Daisy chain a single high current input, they’re pretty slick. I’ve had both of the screens and a gl.inet travel router on a single power feed Daisy chained in series, no issues. Oh man, touch screen though? Have no experience unfortunately.
Tolerance breaks my guys
Personally I hear it had been a mixed bag. Hopefully time has refined this… Old stories about digging up old LOS images, bare minimal patches, and release under e branding with no consideration for security/hardening. Buuut that was info from a grapheneos vs eos forum, or something. Do your research, you know what sub you’re in.

Right. AI coding assistant help users move fast. If the user is a thief, that’s on the thief. A competent developer of a thief, considering the game worked at all. AI alone accomplishes none of this.
