The immutable thing is nice, though it takes some getting used to. It’s Fedora which I already love, without any of the hassle. Everything just works. I’ve got hundreds thousands (lol) of hours in Civ VI alone. I’ve paid for copies for PC, Switch, and Android (and I’m cheap as hell so that’s really saying something). I played Civ VII for maybe an hour or two and then never came back to it. I shouldn’t have to tell you that a Civ game you can willingly put down is not a good Civ game. Aside from the game just not being very fun to begin with, the transition between ages is so clunky, it just completely ruins all of your planning and the pacing of the game.

With this news I saw some DLC had been released since I tried the game and thought ‘oh great, maybe they fixed it a bit or added new mechanics.’ Nope, just more fluff. Never again, Firaxis. You will never get another dime from me.
