I can’t believe nobody said Star Trek. In the 70s you had reruns of the original series and the animated series short run. TMP didn’t come around until the end of the decade. I wasn’t there, but I imagine a 70s trekky would be damn grateful to have all the Trek we have today and they’d probably even love Academy (All the older not chronically online fans I know rave about it).
Edit: regardless of your personal opinion on nu trek, the answer fits the question. A trek fan from the 70s would be blown away by having 13 series and 14 movies available to watch on demand, plus books, games, etc.
Can’t wait for this revolution in wildlife photography.

1·8 months agoOkay well, lightroom Classic is the last thing I’m booting into Windows for. I’ve tried a few times to get into Darktable but the learning curve is steep and blah blah blah. Could you please expound on your earlier comment? If there’s a trick for getting Adobe software to play nicely it could be life changing for me. Are you saying that the software installs fine with Wine/Proton, the issue is the installer/Creative Cloud? Thank you so much!!!
The immutable thing is nice, though it takes some getting used to. It’s Fedora which I already love, without any of the hassle. Everything just works. I never realized how much time I was wasting until I didn’t have to do it anymore. Every task I throw at it, it performs beautifully, even things I’m sure aren’t going to work out of the box do. Every time, so far.
I’m three of those new installs. Bazzite has surpassed every expectation I had.
