I have a relatively easy and nice setup on PopOS currently and I don’t want you switch just because I don’t want to lose my files and setup.

Is there a process you recommend to transfer UI, etc. to another distro as an experiment? I know how to transfer my video files, for example, just don’t know how or if other programs can transfer easily between distros.

I have a slightly different issue where I have several VeraCrypt vaults on an external that seem corrupted and don’t recognize the correct passwords anymore. I’m making note of your advice to work on mine too. Is there anything particularly different you would recommend?

Honestly, don’t know why their search is so broken but it’s a damn near unusable app for that reason. I keep it on my phone for the offline map but it’s almost worthless. If anyone can guide both of us on this, we and our privacy would be in your debt.
