  • I dreamt of this in the first weeks i started to go to work by train. My route passes normally next to a cemetery city. There are literal skyscraper like complexes of in wall graves. I dreamt that my usual train stopped in te middle of nowhere, next to those buildings. I just got out of the train. Headed to one of them and got up the stairs of one of them. As i got in one of the levels. I heard a voce ask me “where have you been? It’s been so long.” as i turned to see who it was. I woke up.

The reason why it’s still sutch a vivid memory is when i woke up, i searched for how the levels were. And they were almost exactly how i dreamt them. It most likely was my mind just adapting what i remembered of the dream to match with the image. But it still kept it in my mind.

  • Thanks. I know that my code is bad, but it shouldn’t be THAT bad. The reason why i am worried is because to use the program, the user needs to change a the UMA framebuffer size. And i am afraid of people changing for ex. The cpu voltage offset and nuking their device. All the program does in of itself should be fixable by just deleting the container. So i am not worried about it that mutch.

  • I get cyclists using the road. Here where i live there is no infrastructure for bycles. I have been there and it’s hideous to cooperate with cars on the road. the only problem i have with cyclists are the ones that think thar bikes don’t have to abide to circulation laws. For example, in a country that drives on the right. I had a cyclist behind me, i turn on the indicator to turn right and as i turn the cyclist overtakes me from the right and then acts pissed because i almost put them under. Let’s not speak about the ones that take one way roads from the wrong sides to take a shortcut.

  • I have old 500 gb drives from 2009 that i ripped out of beaten laptops still working 24/7 and i’ve had new drives grenade themselfs two weeks in use, there are too many factors to properly gauge how long of a life a drive has, the best option is to have backups, even something as simple as a copy on a flash drive is better than nothing.

I get people saying follow the 3-2-1 rule, but there are places like mine where storage is prohibitively expensive, so just do what you can, anything is better than nothing in this cases.
