Yes. It’s normal human behaviour. There is a hype, then a bubble, then… normalization.

0·10 months agoAny displayport source can (per DP standard) deliver HDMI, you just need a dp->hdmi adapter or cable. An explanatory article from 2008 translated via google.
The other way around is harder to achieve but works, too (needs an active adapter to convert the signal).
