YouTube OLED comes with Adblocker, sponsor block, return of dislike button, offline player, or background play and many more features. You can sideload it using Sidestore; however, I’m unsure about its privacy. (That’s what I personally use).
Use either Tuta or ProtonMail (I use both) with SimpleLogin aliases 
I don’t think it’s better because it relies on lineageos but I like their ad/tracker blocker approach.
iodéOS is a carbon copy of LineageOS. The main difference is that it has an ad and tracker blocker built in.

I have several people who usually access my media server from abroad. Can you confirm if the WireGuard network you mentioned allows you to “legally torrent” media using it?
Has anyone used Mullvad vpn with a media server? I’m currently using AirVPN, but it’s not that good speed-wise. I’ve been looking at Mullvad for a while, but they’ve abandoned port forwarding, which I’m not sure how big of an impact that is.

Not sure about two Android phones, but Signal does exactly that. I use the same account on three different devices. Two desktop and one phone. It has a note-to-self feature that allows you to upload up to 100MB file.
