I used to think like that when I was 12-15, now with full blown internet this is just cringe and screams insecurity about your own personality. To be honest I wish there were more people interested in the same stupid shit I love.

I love Lemmy but there are some overly serious people here. They are not the majority but they do show up pretty often. It doesn’t bother me very much, I mostly find it funny or kinda cringe.

It’s not a competition though
