Lol, when the fuck do you think gaming is going to fit into the parental leave? During your 30ish minutes of respite between feedings and exhausted to all hell, or during the off shift time where you’re greedily getting every bit of sleep you can?

I’ve installed Bazzite, and I’ll be making that my daily driver once I finish my documentation (and figure out how to get balatro mods to actually load -.-)

Linux@lemmy.ml•What is this "device" in Dolphin? The fact that's it's full is preventing me from doing some things (Fedora Aurora)
2·1 year agoYeah, I get that. But also, the root mount point is a valid partition, and it is full, so it makes sense why it shows up that way.
I think a lot of the confusion is letting go to old habits and knowledge that don’t exactly work with the new system. In still going through that a lot myself (and will probably be making my own troubleshooting post when I have time), but it’s always good to experiment and see what you can learn.
Best of luck friend!
I started with Bazzite recently after getting a recommendation to go with a SilverBlue derived distro, and other than trying to figure out my own issues, it’s been pretty smooth.
I do have a weird issue that crops up after reboot where the display environment variable isn’t exported or something. But considering I also had an issue with my steam library not loading that was user error, I’m not entirely sure that isn’t of my own making as well…

5·1 year agoIt comes full from the first boot, because you’re not supposed to be able to write to it. That’s kinda he point of an immutable distro

7·1 year agoYou don’t, it’s the immutable root partition. You probably need to find the point it’s trying to write to and link it to a location it can write to.
Note: I’m still a newbie to atomic desktops too.

My current task is outside of the bounds of this chart (monthly task that would take days to do manually, down to a handful of hours). What do?
but not so much that more is expected.
This is my problem, I’ve been plagued with the curse of competence and an inability to keep my mouth shut. This leads me to accidentally volunteer for seemingly easy tasks that ‘only require a bit of automation…’ and I lose weeks of time.

PC Gaming@lemmy.ca•Young men are 'playing videogames all day' instead of getting jobs because they can mooch off of free healthcare, claims congressmanEnglish
18·1 year ago"No one has talked about cutting one benefit in Medicaid to anyone who’s duly owed—what we’ve talked about is returning work requirements, so, for example, you don’t have able-bodied young men on a program that’s designed for single mothers and the elderly and disabled. They’re draining resources from people,” said House Speaker Mike Johnson last week.
‘Get fucked poors, sucks to suck when working full time still keeps you below the poverty line. Can’t afford to pay for you lazy fucks to see a doctor when we’ve got rich people who need the money more’
Yeah, this is pretty much where I am right now. And no, I’ve still got 2-3 more ‘once in a lifetime recessions’ to live through before I retire, which is why I’m ignoring it. That’s future spooky’s problem.
Could need a pickup with the tool boxes and shit built in, or maybe a hydraulic lift. My family owned a construction company for decades, and we always had one of those in the driveway, and while I don’t know how much they were, they were definitely more expensive.
At this point I’m just ignoring my 401k and hoping time in the market makes up for this fuckery…
Depends, if the pills stay whole (or in large enough chunks) they don’t need shot to help them penetrate.
You just gotta be extra close if you want them to go see

Assuming indexing is enables, yes.
