You’re 100% correct. My youngest son is autism and will 100% be with me perpetually. I’m open to the other two staying longer too, but not for a free ride and not forever. I received no handouts in life and it made me who I am. Life is not easy.

I hear you, and I know the status quo is changing but fuck me I want my kids out at 18. I lived in shitty roach infested places in horrible neighbourhoods. I’ve wondered how I would have money for food let alone rent. That’s life. That’s growing. I want them to experience that because without the bad times you don’t learn to appreciate the good ones.

Outside of America many countries have a strong sense of pride especially when something is overtly representing them and their culture.

I don’t play JRPGS and never played metal gear. I played Clair because I heard of the sekiro type mechanics and was interested.
I loved the fight mechanics and I’m sure there was a good story in there if I cared but one thing that really grinded my gears was the goddamn cutscenes. Not only that but the incessant cut scene that leads into another cut scene that leads into another cut scene. Seriously I spent half the game skipping cut scenes.

Some words if advice.
Have kids young. You will never be ready. There is an old expression, “In for a penny. In for a pound.”. Either you like the idea of kids or not. If you do, don’t wait just do it.
Romance. African women are 🥰. If they’re part of the Diaspora and like me you tend to be more if an introvert the juxtaposition can work amazing.
Don’t forget the forest for the trees. Yes the world is on fire. Yes things are increasingly bleak and hopeless. Enjoy life. You have family and friends and they are still important and mean something. Cherish that.
