The crypto space is so messed up. And many people mistake Tether like other decentralized cryptocurrencies like BCH, LTC, XMR and others. Here I have written a short Persian post explaining the stuff. USDT is just fiat, with all the disadvantages it has got. And it is centralized.

I do not use it but I consider it a transitory token. It bridges the fiat world to the crypto world. Eventually it will be obsolete.
