Where I live they are required to rehabilitate the land afterwards, but usually that’s after the mine has been running for like 30+ years and by the time they shut down, they do some weird financial trickery and declare bankruptcy despite having made millions in profits the previous decades and then they just walk away and tax payers need to clean up.

$10 for a skin is not a MICRO transactions, that’s just a transaction.

The entire game costs $60 but ONE skin out of the thirty that already available or whatever is somehow $10? Why do people pay that? Why would they ever bother making a new game when they can design 6 new skins instead?

I don’t know, to me a * b * c is basically just the exact same as a • b • c but just easier to type on a computer. If you were writing it down on paper or a black board they would probably use dots. Coding often uses * because who wants to type in those dots would be a pain in the ass and the * basically looks the closest to a dot.

And no one has to work, they are provided with everything they need. Almost like a universal basic income or something.

Add in a another billion+ or so people for people who were alive before now and you’ve got even more waterolecules which have been in people’s pee.

I would say probably yes, because if you leave something like that unenforced, people learn that they can get away with it and the trend spreads.

Because emergencies are so rare. Many adults are quite unprepared for a lot of them as well.

It’s different if you were to leave like a 1-2 year old in the care of someone but it’s generally okay to leave a 5-10 year old in the care of a 14-15 year old. They mostly just need to feed them and make sure they go to bed.

Plus it gives the teens responsibility and some extra money to spend and it helps them get prepared for the future. Usually if it’s a super young one the teens tend to have first and courses suitable for young children as well or actual baby sitting certifications from a course of some sort.

I just hope they don’t think Harris lost because she didn’t have enough time and then run her again in 2028, either without a primary or with a heavily one-sided primary like in 2016.
