That’s an entirely different situation though. Picky eater is more of a clinical issue. And brute forcing such things never works. Kid being an asshole however, well that, that we can fix reverse assholianism.

Privacy@lemmy.ml•Under British and UK Legislation anyone using or developing end-to-end encryption is now a “hostile actor”
1·2 months agoNot running down Signal or any other e2ee client out there. But there are in fact ways to prevent the recipient from retaining and, at least via the device they are using to receive the messages, copying the data within messages. Several banking apps actually include such measures. And perhaps even having a Mission Impossible-esque self destruct on the message where it re-encrypts and then deletes the messages after they have been viewed is a viable way to prevent retention. It would not prevent somebody from using another device to snap a picture of the information in the message, but it would definitely cut down on people’s ability to easily leak private conversations that are intended to stay that way.

151·2 months agoThere’s no problem with Signal’s encryption. It’s the same issue with any and to end encryption scheme, at either end is a person who can very easily copy and paste everything that has been said in the conversation and send it off to anybody they wish.

2·5 months agoThat is still absolutely loaded to the gills with cheaters. DNSL has a whole series of videos where he trolls people on the server using cheats. 😂
They aren’t underwear. They are trunks, and they are based on strongmen costumes of the early 1900’s.
And yes I am very happy to see them return as well because that is very much a part of Superman’s look. Because he is the ultimate strongman.

591·6 months agoI mean, bugs are bugs. It’s not like Google makes them they are there.
No but there are big bugs and small bugs and it sound like Google’s AI bug finder is flooding them with small bugs that don’t effect the security or end product so much. But some unpaid volunteer from FFMpeg has to check them all out regardless. And Google getting pissy about it doesn’t help.

2·7 months agoYeah, if you could post your setup that would be great. I think it would give me a better idea of how things work. Though, my goal is to consolidate sources to multiple outputs not to separate them.

13·7 months agoOh no… Anyway, anyone got a fix for dual audio on Linux Mint.
I wanna output to 2 devices (one is HDMI TV and the other is Bluetooth) at once and pipewire isn’t accommodating me. I’m hesitant to go screwing around with pulseaudio cause I tried that on a previous build and things went badly.
I managed to get an all devices audio output inserted into the pipewire.conf but the only sound that comes out is from the TV and not the bluetooth speaker.
I don’t really expect an answer here but if you could point me to the forum or instance that might have answers would be appreciated.
I used this page to do the code insert.

There is a galaxy of difference between a kid who thinks they can get away with being a brat with no consequences and a kid who has the level of emotional problems that can lead to self harm. Not to mention the difference between a parent who is just teaching their kid that there are consequences to their actions vs a parent who simply doesn’t care about whether or not they are harming their kid with excessive punitive actions.
