Then how else does it “damage artists”? And how much damage is that in comparison to the damage the former status quo did to people who weren’t considered “artists”?

Explain how this meme financially hurts you.
potential profit maybe?
This is a meme, not a comic. Why would a meme maker add a signature?

Memes@lemmy.ml•Remember when using AI looked cool in fiction? Why can't it look cool now?
13·26 days agoRobots in fiction were almost always just weird humans.
Real robots are not humans, but machines.
But most authors are incapable of depicting real machines in their stories. Or real animals, or real hacking, or real economic systems, or any profession that isn’t their own…
“NoO thEre muSt bE a mAn in the piCture”
Clear case of transphobia. When the dogma kicks in, the mask comes off.
Because the libs in here are walking memes
The system prompt: “You are Adrian Zenz”
At first I didn’t like the idea of a name change. But WLBR is perfect (because I’m a wilbur fan).
Space tech can be dual use, as military tech to destroy usa. This way we can explore space, and solve the problem at home as well.
You should probably start learning about politics. If you only start when the bombs drop on your head, it’s too late.

Privacy@lemmy.ml•Europol predicts a 2035 with no privacy, robot police, robots displacing workers, debates about "robot rights" and criminals commanding hundreds of drones simultaneously
2·6 months agoThis is completely unfeasible. Convincing a bunch of people won’t cut it. For this to work, you’d need to rule the whole world with an iron fist, and then there’d still be secret resistance research labs everywhere.

Privacy@lemmy.ml•Europol predicts a 2035 with no privacy, robot police, robots displacing workers, debates about "robot rights" and criminals commanding hundreds of drones simultaneously
9·6 months agoSurely they’re gonna build a robot police force with no oil, no gallium, and no robot factories.
I predict a 2035 with no europe.
(Although I do like the idea of being a criminal commanding hundreds of robots. The republican space cops with their slave armies and idealism magic would hate me. CIS ftw.)
Someone linked to lemmygrad on r/latestagecapitalism. I looked at both lemmy and lemmygrad (this was pre-federation) and realized that the “hard-coded slur filter” was genius.

Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•I think Lemmy in general is very against AI. I'm rather new here, is it like a fediverse group thing or is this even based on reality?
42·7 months agoIt’s the year 2026. All of Lemmy has been conquered by AI haters.
All of Lemmy? No. A small instance resists: Lemmygrad.
But as soon as people use their creativity in ways that are “not approved”, they get called uncreative, unable to learn, not human, etc. etc. etc.
