I live in Japan and haven’t heard of this, but I’m generally allergic to most social media. I’ll have to ask my wife when I get home if she’s seen it.

I’m hoping they sell the IP to someone who competent who will realse solid games and not cashgrab, but I think I’ll be dead before that day comes. I have zero plan to buy it when it comes out despite enjoying Skyrim and Oblivion

I had to Google as I thought this was another mmo from when I worked in the industry. I guess this means names are a bit generic (I got out of that industry in 2013). This is not one I’m familiar with. (I used to work on fan sites and tools to plot mob locations and quest items on maps and the like. Not the bad ones that had account/currency selling and such; we banned those people)

Am man. Am not athletic (was never great at anything and a number of places in my body are now metal). Am not bothered at all by the question. My answer would probably be endurance running, though I did enjoy shot and disc.

I’m a xennial so very much grew up without cellphones at all, let alone smartphones. They occasionally pop up in my dreams.

To me, it’s about the voice and avatar on screen and not the content. They never fully match (I am super sensitive to sync between audio and video) which just puts it into super creepy and inhuman on top of the weird (to me, anyway,) animated avatar (and I don’t just mean Japanese-anime-style either; I’ve seen robots, more photo-realistic, etc.).

I literally cannot remember the last time. This PC doesn’t have any optical drives and I’ve had it for like 7 years now. I did use a USB optical drive once to install a driver for something. I can’t even remember the last game I purchased that had a physical disc, honestly. I haven’t bought a game requiring a disc since living in Japan so that’s definitely a decade. Probably around 15 years, if I had to guess, and maybe even longer than that.

Some of them (the Finnish ones I saw) just had the bottom being the rack, basically, so at least that had dripping and airflow. Having an actual board below it would be a terrible idea, I think, heh.

I’ve always wanted the version built into a cabinet, but I live in a high-humdity area and that just screams of mold issues. Why not the version as pictured in the open? Earthquakes. Still, definitely at the point in my life that it’s awesome at least in theory

I wish AMD had something like CUDA that my video rendering software used so I could stop using nvidia.

I’m on a 2080 or 2090 (I forget which). I thought I’d upgrade to the 40xx now that 5090s are out. I looked at the prices and absolutely not. The 5090s are around 500k JPY, and ordering from the US would work out to about the same with exchange, tax, and any possible tariff that exists this week. Salaries here are also much lower than in the west as well on average even for those of us in software.

4070s are still around 100k which is cheaper than last time I looked at 250k ish.

Ok, so … I suppose it is what is says on the tin? Someone whose avatar is a cow (I assumed it was some specific genre or something less literal)? Is the content cow-related somehow? I still have many questions.

I speak Japanese and, at least for all the words I’m thinking of for both cow and vagina, none come out to awesome unless it’s some net slang that I don’t know. Cow could by Gyuu or Ushi. Vagina is often mata, man, or manko (all of which could have a preceding ‘o’) (edit: also chitsu and wagina (probably by way of Dutch originally), apparently also exist.) Those might possibly work better, especially wagina with the -na ending common to a type of adjective)

Awesome is a bit trickier. Subarashii is usually the dictionary one, but Sogoi/sugei or saikou come to mind. Archaic rippaa also exists. If that’s true, my vote is on net slang or just something I’m totally not seeing.

Edit: after filling my search history with interesting things, it appears it’s Chinese and not Japanese. “niubi”.
