I’ve been working on taking out the infestation around my parent’s house since 2017.

Its still going strong and when I moved away from the county last year they let it go wild, so now it’s all over the retaining wall for their driveway, crawling along the back wall of the garage under the siding, and I’ve even seen a leaf inside the house that I had to pull out of the vent.

I’ve decided if they didn’t care enough to work on it, I don’t care either. We’ll see how much damage it does this year.

Oh that’s a nice use for a china cabinet!

My parents keep asking if I want their china cabinet, and I keep saying I have nothing to put in it. But now I’ll have to think about it.

So a few that are still rising are great for being easy to care for. And others like alocasia and monsters are highly collectible with new “rare” varieties for high end plant people to keep fiddling with. Interesting.

I’d be interested in seeing a version of this that was relative popularity, so that it was controlled for the 2020 plant boom some way.

Literally though. I have 3 kinds in my laundry/bathroom and they love the wacked out temperature and humidity. Raven, normal and a supernova.
