While I agree in general, there’s still the last bit from the station to home. I can only get a hundred pounds of kitty litter on my trike. If I need to haul more, I need an (hopefully electric) automobile.
I just finished buying everything for a project I’ve been designing for a few years. If I had taken public transit, it would have taken 3 or 4 trips.
If there is that much traffic there should be a train line instead.
