There are some specific hardware/software situations where you’ll need Windows but it’s unlikely to happen at home. Unless you have very peculiar hobbies.

Fuck I hope so. Humans should be replaced at everything by AI.

Then we’ll be able to discuss what even makes a human. All of us dying and a couple of billionaires left to live alone is a desirable goal /s

Multiple incompatible flawed competing standards are essential for a success of any technology

Best thing that happened recently. Wonderful wonderful chaos, when the best plans of authoritarian politicians go awry. And I mean both Chinese and American politicians.

I also think I’ve never seen legible text in a dream. This “i know it’s text but can’t really read it” sounds a lot like the issues AI image generators have.

The rise of AI made me rethink many things about consciousness. It seem like our internal image generators and text generators are separate from “us” as in the “core personality”.

Well cultural habits are slow to change. I suspect it would take some 20 years to change the dynamics such than women are always expected to make the first move.

Bumble was well positioned to push for that change, unfortunately earning revenue has a priority, they are are a business after all. Still their gimmick got the ball rolling, we’ll see who picks it up next.

The floodgates between Chinese and Western meme cultures are now open. It will be glorious.

Better headline: Dell kills all brands

Given that Dell has lost most of it’s old reputation in the last couple of years, not surprising that radical moves were taken. Trying to navigate Dells product range was a quick way to get a headache.

No matter what so many people say, it’s not mandatory to have a partner!

Invest your effort in figuring out how to live with yourself. Build a life worth living on your own.
A right person might come, or not. But at least you didn’t waste your life chasing wrong goals.
