I use Brave because it doesn’t force me to create an account to sync my bookmarks. Ironically, Firefox isn’t a saint either; I used to use it, but then this happened.

      Plus, Firefox doesn’t support WebUSB.

Yep, but at the same time free horizontal space > free vertical.

Depends on how many apps you use in your workflow at once.

I certainly got to enjoy the vertical bar. Feels more natural to me, like bookmarks.

the panel on the side. it just makes sense–if you can get ‘used to’ it.

screens are wider than they are tall, but most content viewed by or worked on by most people goes vertical: web sites and text documents. hell, even most pictures and video people take these days, too, because they still don’t know enough to rotate their damn phones.

Yes, I’d definitely rather have a fucking dead site than see pictures of people’s pretty DEs that they’re proud of, and read discussions about why people like or don’t like certain things. Just a dead void of nothing sounds so superior to that as a newer user of GUI Linux distros instead of just headless. Thanks for telling me that I’m an EnShiTTiFiEr because you only want… I don’t even know what you fuckin want, some exclusive club with a post a day about what? I did do a cursory search for firewatch wallpapers too, but the darkmode term seems to be the key here. Anyhoo, thanks!

edit: though, the site has it in fairly low res, all the download options are super compressed and just (badly) upscaled. But gonna look around if I can find a better version

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Linux is a family of open source Unix-like operating systems based on the Linux kernel, an operating system kernel first released on September 17, 1991 by Linus Torvalds. Linux is typically packaged in a Linux distribution (or distro for short).

Distributions include the Linux kernel and supporting system software and libraries, many of which are provided by the GNU Project. Many Linux distributions use the word “Linux” in their name, but the Free Software Foundation uses the name GNU/Linux to emphasize the importance of GNU software, causing some controversy.
